Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Grindly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Grindly is a productivity and lifestyle management platform that combines business tracking (tasks, projects, clients, revenue) with gamified habit and discipline tracking (habits, focus sessions, water, mood, XP, levels, streaks, achievements).

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address and verify it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • One account per person. Do not share your credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Automate access beyond the provided API or interface.
  • Create accounts for the purpose of abuse or spam.

5. Subscriptions and payments

  • Grindly offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. The free tier includes core features with usage limits.
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • On cancellation or non-payment, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data is preserved — you will not lose access to existing data, but new resource creation may be limited.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Your data

  • You own your data. We do not claim ownership of your content.
  • You may export your data at any time via Settings.
  • You may delete your account and all data at any time via Settings > Danger Zone.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grindly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Settings.
